Gerhild is an Highlander in her thirties. She wanders the realm doing whatever oddjobs she can find, although she tends to gravitate towards mercenary work due to her past with Gridanian Woodwailers. Gerhild came to Shroud from the north as a war refugee at young age. She had trouble mixing with the other children for being from different culture and not being the most cheerful company, so she tended to spend her time in the outskirts of Gridania or in the forest itself. As she grew older and learned to read the forest she chose to join the Woodwailers. Her natural quietness and skills at observation earned her a reputation for stealth and tracking. When primals influence started growing in the forest she started feeling uneasy, and in hopes to understand her emotions she left Gridania to wander the world.

She has short black hair, she has two light-brown eyes, as usual for highlander she has a slightly muscular and tall frame, distinctive stern resting face, her style of clothing is distinctly practical except for her moogle helmet.
