=== Following the Final Days ===
During a Nadaam, Gansetseg encouraged a young man of the Oronir to join in with the battle.  The ceremony ended with an unprecedented no contest, leading to all deaths therein bereft of honour and purpose.  Shouldering the blame for this teenager's participation in the bout, Gansetseg's relations within the Oronir became strained due to her feelings of guilt; culminating in self destructive behaviours, abandonment by her Yol, and eventual banishment from the tribe.

Subsequently, left without purpose or a place to belong, she was taken in by [[Saikhan Khartsgai| Saikhan]] and her tribe, the airship-borne Khartsgai tribe.

Following her rejection by the Oronir tribe, Gansetseg's ability to invoke fire magic and enhance herself aetherially has been stunted.
